Youth Ministry is now back in full swing. Last night we had our first meeting of the year. We held a cookout at our house and played a little football in the backyard. We had 6 kids show up which is a bit smaller than we expected, but it was good quality time.
This is our kick off event of the year and only the second time we have done this, so a lot of people are still enjoying summer vacation. Next week, we are starting up a Youth Bible Study. I don't expect everyone to show up for this, but a few would be nice. We really want to get down and dirty when it comes to God's Word.
We do have pretty high expectations for this year, so I hope that things run smoothly and will give us an idea of how our Purpose Driven Youth Ministry is running. I plan on sharing more updates on how things are going each week, so check back for the latest.

Someone has youth group on his mind. You didn't mention anything about our visit with Mike, Tracey, and Xander or our trip out. These days you have been totally youth group focused! I am not saying that is a bad thing... just that you talk about it A LOT! Just have to give you a hard time. As my dad would say... FEEL THE LOVE!
